North American Ursulines Celebrate

Marie of the Incarnation, the first Ursuline to arrive in North America has been canonized as a saint by Pope Francis. The wonder of her life has always been celebrated in Canada and particularly in Quebec City where she arrived 375 years ago. The monastery she established still exists. She is renowned for her mystical spirituality. She took a particular interest in Aboriginal Peoples and provided education to their children and those of the French settlers.
